The main scientific purposes of the IMC concern the developments of the chemical procedures for the syntheses, purifications and analyses of products and processes. In these contexts the characteristics methodologies of the IMC are deeply studied and adapted to the solution of problems concerning the most important application fields. A very strategic concentration of specific instruments has been realized in the IMC aggregation and their diverse employment together with the multi-competences deriving from the different support of every scientific unit have allowed to reach interesting results in the following application fields. Moreover these researches are carried out in collaboration with academic, private and public research centers at national and international level.
